Honda launches all-new CBR250RR Sports model in Indonesia

Honda has launched its all-new CBR250RR premium sports model in Indonesia.

“Indonesian has a strong motorcycle culture and attachment to motorcycle not only as transportation which maximises their freedom but also as an object of passion,” said Toshiyuki Inuma, President Director, AHM.

The light, high-performing RR is based on Honda’s design theme, “Speed Shape”.  Equipped with a new-generation, 250cc liquid-cooled 4 stroke engine, DOHC 4 valve – 2 cylinder, which is developed through a strong collaboration of Japanese and Indonesian engineers before its manufacturing began in AHM Karawang plant.

“Indonesia has been chosen as the first country in the world to manufacture and launched this Honda’s flagship model in supersport category.  It become a real prove of Indonesian creation has fulfill international standard and able to compete in global market,” said Johannes Loman, executive vice president director, AHM.

The CBR250RR will be available in two types namely STD (standard) and ABS with three colours – Honda Racing Red, Anchor Gray metallic and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic. Deliveries of the model are set to commence by the end of 2016 at Honda’s Wing Dealer in Indonesia.
