Faurecia has announced that it will reveal its breakthrough technologies and services for cleaner cities and the cockpit of the future at the three-day (January 9-12, 2018) Consumer Electronic Show 2018 at Las Vegas, USA. This will be the first time that the global supplier will be participating at the world's largest electronics fair.

Faurecia says it will reveal major disruptive innovations for a personalised and safe on-board experience in the versatile, connected and predictive cockpit of the future.

The company plans to demonstrate its role as a leading systems integrator for changing mobility needs and enhance user experience, together with the rapid expansion of its innovation ecosystem through partnerships, acquisitions and investment in start-ups.

The supplier says it will display a fully integrated futuristic cockpit, demonstrating versatile architecture and smart systems for a safe and personalised user experience for different driving modes.

At CES 2018, it will also display a connected seat cover for driving professionals, one that incorporates sensors for health and wellness data monitoring. The closed loop comfort system monitors occupant status and applies therapies to improve well-being.

Other highlights of the show will include an infotainment interface integrating voice controlled access to services with Parrot Automotive's multi-platform system, and a real-time data emissions monitoring system with state-of-the-art sensor technology helping cities and fleets to improve air quality.

A selection of start-ups working with Faurecia will also be participating at CES 2018.
