DSM Engineering Plastics is now DSM Engineering Materials

Dutch multinational Royal DSM has announced that it has renamed its group business DSM Engineering Plastics to DSM Engineering Materials. The company says the rebranding exercise is to emphasise the broad character of its specialty materials portfolio and expertise.

Additionally, this also brings better expression to its advanced materials engineering capabilities and know-how. DSM Engineering Materials has a strong heritage in servicing the needs of its customers, and builds upon its expertise in advanced materials, and market-focused research to bring innovative solutions.

DSM Engineering Materials is a comprehensive total solutions strategic partner and leader in sustainability. Recently, DSM announced that it will offer a full alternative range of its existing portfolio based on bio- and/or recycled-based engineering materials by 2030.
