Corning, the US-based company that specialises in speciality glass, ceramics and related materials and technologies is going to start the mass production of its patented ColdForm technology for curved automotive display systems. It is collaborating with Visteon, an automotive cockpit electronics technology solution provider to further develop the technology.

Corning, the US-based company that specialises in speciality glass, ceramics and related materials and technologies is going to start the mass production of its patented ColdForm technology for curved automotive display systems. It is collaborating with Visteon, an automotive cockpit electronics technology solution provider to further develop the technology.
Mike Kunigonis, vice president and general manager, Corning Automotive Glass Solutions said, “We’re working with Visteon, a market and innovation leader in digital clusters and multi-display modules, to commercialise Corning’s patented ColdForm Technology for the automotive industry.
