Brose to showcase its latest product portfolio at SAPE 2016 later this month

Automotive supplier and mechatronic specialist Brose is to display a comprehensive product portfolio, from single components to entire system units for doors, seats and electric drives – all with customised design options – at the Shanghai International Auto Parts Exhibition (SAPE) 2016 to be held at the New International Expo Center from June 28-30 (Hall W3, Number 511).

Under its ‘Competence for tomorrow’s mobility’ theme, Brose is to showcase solutions for the cars of today and tomorrow. They are, according to the company, its response to global megatrends where car owners demand more of their driving experience like new dimensions of comfort features, a reduction in potential risks and higher efficiency with lower fuel consumption.

Examples are the lightweight series door system, a modular seat system for a global vehicle platform and customised thermal management. The hands-free opening and closing function featured in the power liftgate makes loading and unloading at the rear of the vehicle easier. Also, the Brose series electric seat structure can realise up to 20 different adjustments, and by using intelligent material mix, the seat system weighs around 20 percent lighter than rival products.
