The British luxury carmaker is on target to commence production of its new SUV, the Aston Martin DBX, in 2019.
Over a year ago, Aston Martin had announced that St Athan had been chosen as the site for its second UK plant from 20 potential global locations.

With the UK’s Ministry of Defence handing over the St Athan, Wales site to Aston Martin, the luxury carmaker is to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and is on target to commence DBX production in 2019.
