AB Dynamics opens cutting-edge tech centre in the UK
The automotive test system supplier has seen continued, rapid growth prompting the creation of a new, tailored engineering facility
Automotive test system supplier AB Dynamics has opened its new global headquarters in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, UK. The purpose-built, £9 million state-of-the-art facility was officially opened by HRH Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester.
AB Dynamics says the rising Chinese automotive industry was a contributing factor in the recent growth of its overseas sales, with over 95 percent of its products exported to foreign markets. As a result, it now employs more than 120 people worldwide and recruitment continuing to increase.
“The company is experiencing incredible growth. We have doubled our floor space and invested in additional land around the new 39,000 square foot site, with the intention of further expansion in the future. There is a global demand for high-quality automotive test equipment, this is reflected in our continued success,” said Tim Rogers, CEO, AB Dynamics.
AB Dynamics work was more recently recognised at the UK Tech Awards. It had started operations in 1982, when it began providing noise, vibration and suspension engineering services to the automotive industry. It has been at the forefront of vehicle and chassis development, supplying systems to a significant majority of the world’s largest manufacturers. The company designs and manufactures a range of products from driving robots, through to large static rigs and one of the world’s most advanced driving simulators, the aVDS.
